La Fabrique Culturelle

GRASS est un court film de danse initié par la chorégraphe Audrey Bergeron. Tourné sur un terrain de football, ce film est le résultat d'un processus créatif multidisciplinaire inspiré du "cadavre exquis". Une proposition chorégraphique initiale interprétée par Audrey Bergeron et Merryn Kritzinger a été réinterprétée à relais par un compositeur (Antoine Berthiaume), puis par un réalisateur (Philippe Meunier). Ces deux derniers collaborateurs ont eu totale carte blanche quant à leur interprétation de la proposition dansée et ce sont les actions combinées des différentes disciplines qui ont mené à la création d’une œuvre hybride entre la danse contemporaine, la musique et le cinéma.

GRASS is a short dance film initiated by the choreographer Audrey Bergeron. Shot on a football field, this film is the result of a multidisciplinary creative process inspired by the "exquisite corpse." Initially a dance piece performed by Audrey Bergeron and Merryn Kritzinger, the work has been reinterpreted first by composer (Antoine Berthiaume) and next by director (Philippe Meunier). These two collaborators had total "carte blanche" on their interpretation of the dance proposal, and it is the combined actions of different disciplines that has led to the creation of a hybrid work of contemporary dance, music and film.
